About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead hourly teams to deliver a best-in-class brand experience
- Oversee floor operations and ensure hospitality standards are met
- Support payroll, staff scheduling, recruitment, purchasing, and administrative functions
- Collaborate with the General Manager and AGM to meet COGS and labor spending targets
- Champion the brand and ensure core values are reflected in every guest touchpoint
- Maintain a visible floor presence during peak hours and model extraordinary service
- Obtain guest feedback and monitor external customer communication channels
- Resolve shift challenges and guest needs
- Lead opening, closing, and operationally compliant floor shifts
- Assign equitable floor sections and run pre-shift meetings
- Enforce dress code and step into service roles when additional support is needed
- Manage labor and spending controllables against yearly budget benchmarks
- Complete daily tip calculations and timecard corrections through the POS payroll system
- Audit and submit payroll at the end of each pay cycle
- Monitor inventory and submit orders for beverage and dry goods
- Uphold sanitation, safety, regulatory, and company standards
- Resolve equipment malfunctions and supply shortages
- Cultivate an inclusive, supportive, high-energy work environment
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Provide actionable feedback and encourage upward communication
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years of restaurant management experience
- 1 year of related administrative experience preferred
- Experience with restaurant technical applications, including POS and OpenTable
- Experience contributing to opening a new restaurant location is a plus
- Ability to work 45–55 hours per week
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays, including promotional days, brand events, emergency, and PTO coverage
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays both planned and unplanned within reason, as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop
