About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities
- Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with CPC and IFRS standards, where applicable
- Analyze the accounting impacts of tax, financial, asset-related, and corporate transactions
- Support internal and external audits by providing information, reports, and technical explanations
- Conduct critical analyses of financial results and accounting indicators, proposing improvements to processes, internal controls, and automation
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the consistency of accounting information and compliance with deadlines and statutory and corporate obligations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of General and Corporate Accounting, CPC standards, and IFRS
- Experience with reconciliations, account analysis, accounting close processes, and preparation of financial statements
- Familiarity with tax legislation as it applies to accounting, internal controls, and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
