About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead client relationships and provide client support on various projects
- Serve as lead consultant on engagements of all sizes
- Ensure project objectives are achieved consistently with organizational service standards
- Manage client projects day to day
- Supervise Senior and Associate Consultants, Analysts, and other assigned staff
- Act as the primary technical subject matter expert and project leader
- Act as the main client contact and develop plans addressing business requirements
- Meet regularly with clients and resolve concerns
- Liaise with direct service channels to fulfill client needs
- Collaborate with departments to ensure client satisfaction
- Support clients throughout project cycles and maintain transparency
- Clarify client scope and expectations and ensure timely deliverables
- Develop and coordinate Statements of Work, documenting scope, deliverables, timelines, and requirements
- Facilitate procurement requirements, including purchase orders and related documentation
- Mediate between clients and vendors and coordinate business-requirement meetings
- Assist with contract negotiations and product and pricing details
- Coordinate timely and accurate invoicing and required approvals
- Deliver correspondence regarding problem resolutions, product and service features/upgrades, and company changes
- Attend client sites approximately four days per week and the Util-Assist office approximately one day per week
- Travel to client locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area and other required locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Business Administration, Communications or Marketing
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a professional services industry managing a portfolio of clients
- Prior experience in sales, account management and/or a customer service role
- Advanced knowledge of client operations to support the development of client solutions
- Strong knowledge of the utility industry
- Expert MS Office skills
- Ability to inspire, influence and negotiate business deals with clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions to enhance client efficiency and productivity
- Expert team collaboration skills and ability to work with other departments to develop client-benefiting strategies
- Advanced entrepreneurial skills with ability to deliver innovative, creative and custom client solutions
- Strong leadership skills
- Successful candidates must complete SIN and passport verification and pass a police vulnerability check
- Candidates must have current legal authorization to work in Canada or the U.S.
- Ability to travel to client locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area and other locations as required
