About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review assigned projects for scope, constructability, and sequencing
- Conduct pre-construction walkouts with vendors and internal teams
- Verify locate ticket status, issue required 48-hour notices, and coordinate specialty services
- Confirm permits, traffic control requirements, and jurisdictional approvals before work begins
- Identify and resolve field conflicts with engineering and management
- Meet with foremen and vendors daily to review work plans and sequencing
- Monitor GPM check-ins and production updates
- Verify vendor documentation, certifications, equipment, crew assignments, and compliance with construction methods
- Conduct site inspections and QA/QC checks
- Ensure compliance with drilling practices, underground depth requirements, aerial attachment standards, HOA requirements, safety regulations, and PPE requirements
- Ensure restoration and production units are completed timely
- Troubleshoot field challenges and technical issues
- Coordinate map discrepancies and field changes with engineering
- Investigate and report damages
- Submit daily and project reports, including end-of-shift, damage, MOT, and QA/QC reports
- Maintain accurate project documentation and production updates
- Communicate with management, clients, cities, jurisdictions, and field crews
- Address homeowner and public concerns professionally
- Monitor material availability and traffic control requests
- Support yard organization, equipment readiness, and field crew training
- Maintain accountability for daily field execution, productivity, vendor compliance, safety, permits, reporting, and production goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- A valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Strong knowledge of field construction, vendor management, and project coordination
- Ability to read and understand construction plans, drawings, maps, and diagrams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to different project sites throughout the Western U.S. market
