About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review assigned projects for scope, constructability, and sequencing
- Conduct pre-construction walkouts with vendors and internal teams
- Verify locate tickets, permits, traffic control requirements, and jurisdictional approvals before work begins
- Identify field conflicts and coordinate resolution with engineering and management
- Meet with foremen and vendors daily to review work plans, expectations, and job sequencing
- Monitor GPM check-ins and production updates
- Ensure vendors and crews have required documentation, certifications, equipment, and follow approved construction methods
- Conduct site inspections and QA/QC checks for quality, safety, compliance, and restoration
- Troubleshoot field challenges, technical issues, map discrepancies, damages, and unexpected conditions
- Submit daily and project reporting, including end-of-shift, damage, MOT, and QA/QC reports
- Communicate with management, clients, cities, jurisdictions, field crews, homeowners, and the public
- Monitor material availability, traffic control requests, yard organization, and equipment readiness
- Assist in developing field crews through training and reinforcement of standards
- Ensure daily field execution, vendor and crew compliance, safety and permit adherence, accurate documentation, and timely completion of production goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- A valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Strong knowledge of field construction, vendor management, and project coordination
- Ability to read and understand construction plans, drawings, maps, and diagrams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to different project sites throughout the Western U.S. market
