About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, maintain, and support the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure
Create, deploy, and administer virtual machines, storage, and networking components
Monitor Azure Stack HCI infrastructure performance
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Ensure deployments meet organizational security standards and compliance requirements
Implement and manage access controls, firewalls, and encryption
Manage backup and disaster recovery processes
Test and verify backup and recovery procedures regularly
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes
Maintain records of system performance, issues, and resolutions
Provide technical consultation and advice to IT teams, business units, and management
Collaborate on infrastructure projects and initiatives
Participate in developing and implementing Azure Stack HCI security policies and procedures
Identify potential performance problems
Perform regular backups of Azure Stack HCI data
Respond to Azure Stack HCI outages and incidents
Report to the Infrastructure Manager and work closely with IT team members and stakeholders from other departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Stack HCI certifications are highly desirable
At least 3-5 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Azure Stack HCI or similar technologies
In-depth understanding of Azure Stack HCI, hyper-converged infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking
Familiarity with Windows Server, Azure services, and related Microsoft technologies
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in Azure Stack HCI and related technologies
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Storage Spaces Direct
Experience with HCI architecture and design tools and technologies
Experience with Azure Stack HCI troubleshooting and problem resolution
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
