About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide L2 Support for Java engineering systems
- Decompose external payments systems into Spring Boot 3 microservices on AWS ECS
- Implement caching and replication with ElastiCache Redis and AWS RDS
- Engineer migration strategies and phased rollouts
- Create reusable service templates and standardized CI/CD pipelines
- Improve system resilience and observability using Spring Cloud, Resilience4j, and AWS ElastiCache
- Build and lead Build & Release engineering automation
- Develop Node.js automation tools integrated with the Jira API
- Collaborate with development teams, architects, product managers, Cloud, and SecOps teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced English
- Experience with Java software engineering and L2 support
- Experience with Spring Boot 3 and microservices
- Experience with AWS ECS, AWS RDS, AWS ElastiCache Redis, and Spring Cloud
- Experience with Resilience4j
- Experience engineering CI/CD pipelines and reusable service templates
- Experience with Groovy, AWS CloudFormation, Python, Jenkins Pipeline Libraries, Node.js, and Jira API
- Experience collaborating with development teams, architects, product managers, Cloud, and SecOps teams
