Key responsibilities & impact

Build new features for iHerb's iOS and Android apps used by millions of customers globally
Participate in mobile modernization, contributing to app architecture improvements and new platform capabilities
Write maintainable, well-tested mobile code and own features from design specification through app store release
Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to integrate new APIs and product experiences
Use Claude Code or equivalent AI tooling daily for code generation, refactoring, and test automation
Contribute to cross-platform tooling and shared component libraries as the mobile platform evolves

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native iOS development with Swift and Android development with Kotlin
Proficiency in Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android
Experience shipping apps to the App Store and/or Google Play
Understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture
Hands-on experience shipping production code with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor; daily use required
Familiarity with .NET/C#, Go, Python, Java, React, MS SQL Server, Azure or AWS
Comfortable contributing across layers of the stack; purely single-layer specialists are not the target profile
Experience owning features end-to-end from specification through deployment and ongoing operations
Strong grasp of software design principles, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD
7+ years of experience (D3 level)
