About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, explain variances, and provide practical recommendations
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports on revenue, receivables, cash activity, and customer program performance
  • Develop analyses and reporting tools to help stakeholders understand results and make informed decisions
  • Review billing activity for accuracy and completeness and investigate discrepancies through resolution
  • Reconcile balances and transactions across reports, customer records, and the general ledger
  • Monitor open items and work with internal partners to resolve financial questions
  • Support month-end close through account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and supporting schedules
  • Assist with revenue and deferred revenue analysis and reconciliations
  • Maintain documentation and follow financial controls and approval processes
  • Partner with Finance, Client Services, and Operations to understand business activity and financial impact
  • Interpret contract terms and business processes to support accurate billing and reporting
  • Identify improvements to data quality, reporting, and financial process efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial operations, or a related finance role
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to work with large datasets, investigate differences, and explain findings
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
  • Clear communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with billing, receivables, reconciliations, or month-end reporting preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, or process improvement preferred
  • Familiarity with GAAP and revenue recognition principles preferred
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy preferred
  • Flexibility to travel as needed preferred
  • Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screen
