About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead strategy development for new business development opportunities and evolve Valeris’ enterprise strategy for its Patient Access portfolio
  • Develop content for access services opportunities, including RFP responses, executive summaries, bid defense slides, and technology strategy
  • Attend in-person presentations or participate via conference call when travel is not possible
  • Serve as the go-to resource for complex questions, strategies, and issues involving Patient Services Programs and the Innovation & Product Development Roadmap
  • Represent Valeris’ Patient Access solutions and enterprise strategy through white papers, podium talks, and promotional marketing campaigns
  • Support the client services team with complex program operational challenges and preview strategic solutions for top clients at QBRs and strategic meetings
  • Partner with Commercial Learning & Development to ensure team understanding of commercial strategy
  • Work with client brand strategy owners on tactical planning for Patient Access Services
  • Grow Valeris’ business ethically and use industry contacts to uncover opportunities
  • Improve employee product knowledge, market awareness, and understanding of Patient Services across manufacturers, patients, payers, providers, and pharmacies
  • Maintain confidentiality, follow Valeris standards, SOPs, policies, procedures, and training requirements
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • History of working in the pharmaceutical services industry with a focus on patient access and affordability services
  • Experience defining and designing use cases and requirements for patient access program transactions and processes
  • Experience establishing strategic opportunities, operational standards, policies, and procedures for HUB, DTP, Pharmacy, Field Reimbursement, Nursing, and Affordability services operations
  • Understanding of PSP programs and using available data to determine patient needs and support those needs
  • In-depth knowledge of PSP operations and how HUB and Affordability Services programs are built within pharmaceutical organizations
  • In-depth knowledge of technology enabling PSP functions and how those technologies work together
  • Ability to develop written proposals and presentations, validate data, document business and conversion processes, and manage critical projects
  • Understanding of industry best practices and ability to communicate insights
  • Industry network and contacts to identify new business opportunities
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred
  • Market Access experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related field preferred
  • Experience in community and/or hospital settings selling and/or supporting specialty, value-oriented, non-commodity products preferred
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy preferred
  • Flexibility to travel as needed preferred
  • Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screen
