About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Automate and optimize existing processes by mapping manual activities and recurring reports within the Cost Management department
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain management reports, dashboards, and interactive dashboards for costs, expenses, profitability, and performance indicators
  • Extract, consolidate, process, and validate financial, accounting, and operational data from SAP and other sources
  • Structure databases and analytical solutions for Cost Management analyses
  • Review reports, automate calculations and consolidations, reduce manual intervention, and improve data reliability
  • Create reports, dashboards, and indicators to identify variances, trends, improvement opportunities, and efficiency gains
  • Support analyses of industrial costs, production, industrial expenses, actual-versus-budget variances, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Use Power BI, Power Query, advanced Excel, VBA, and Python to automate routines, integrate data, and optimize processes
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, propose innovative solutions, and implement improvements
  • Support system integration projects, the enhancement of BI tools, data governance, and the application of Artificial Intelligence
  • Implement validations, controls, and documentation for databases, reports, and automations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Previous experience in data analysis, report development, BI, and process automation within finance, accounting, controllership, or cost management functions
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, and the processing and consolidation of large data volumes, with experience automating routines and reports
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI in developing and maintaining dashboards and management reports, data modeling, creating indicators, and using DAX
  • Proficiency in Power Query for data extraction, processing, transformation, and consolidation, applied to the automation of recurring routines
  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or VBA in developing scripts and automation solutions
  • SQL and databases, with the ability to query, extract, join, and manipulate data from different sources
  • Experience with the SAP ERP system, including extracting and processing data from the system
  • Analytical, investigative, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Proactive approach to identifying automation and process improvement opportunities
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and innovation
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical and sustainable solutions
  • Autonomy, organization, and a strong sense of responsibility when managing projects
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with different departments and organizational levels
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and industrial costs is a plus
  • Experience with cost, profitability, margin, and operational efficiency indicators is a plus
  • Experience with data integration, digital transformation, or the application of Artificial Intelligence in corporate processes is a plus
