About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Place equipment orders with manufacturers based on project and operational requirements
- Inspect deliveries and verify their conformity
- Catalogue and register all equipment in the fleet management system
- Monitor and update inventory movements
- Manage the replacement of obsolete equipment
- Size and maintain the equipment safety stock
- Manage warranty claims and manufacturer returns (RMA)
- Analyse fleet usage to prevent overstocking and the waste of consumables
- Manage equipment end-of-life through WEEE recycling, refurbishment, or resale
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, internal deployment and operations teams, installers, and maintenance providers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven initial experience in hardware fleet management (IT, telecommunications, or electronics)
- Two years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of IT hardware and networking environments
- Rigorous and well organised
- Strong analytical and forward-planning skills
