About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and execute procurement compliance and operations activities supporting the business with the support of the Head of Procurement Operations
Work closely with internal departments, partners, and external auditing teams
Oversee procurement SOX control execution across sites
Verify authorization thresholds, segregation of duties (SoD), and audit trail integrity within the ERP system for procurement controls
Report compliance and maintain accurate documentation for finance and audit reviews
Lead internal procurement compliance, periodic SOX self-assessments, and internal/external audits
Serve as the main stakeholder relationship contact for internal and external non-quality auditing teams
Provide cross-trained operational backup for the global procurement team
Execute transactional escalations and maintain continuous workflow support during peak operational periods or absences
Negotiate SLAs, conduct price comparisons, and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance for goods and services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate from a commercial and/or technical school or bachelor degree (HTL, HAK, MBA, FH)
At least five (5) years relevant cross functional work experience in a regulated industry
Effective communication abilities
Very good negotiating skills
Capacity to work in a fast changing environment
High self-organizing abilities
Social competence
Business orientated behaviour
Independent work style
Strategic and analytical (process)-approach
Profound knowledge in contract management
Fundamental MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Experience with an ERP-System, preferably D365
Very good proficiency in English
French is a plus
