About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Data & AI pursuits from qualification through signed SOW, including solution shaping, Data & AI economics modeling, estimating, scope structuring, and leading orals
Make go/no-go calls on pursuits based on value, risk, and delivery ability
Turn client ambitions into phased programs that prove value early and create foundations for scale
Improve other pursuits through solution reviews and direct coaching
Serve as technical lead on two client engagements at a time, owning architecture, technical risk, and quality
Ensure AI solutions have data, platform, evaluation, observability, and support foundations for production
Act as the senior technical voice for clients on difficult tradeoffs
Own solution sign-off and help shape staffing across data science, AI, data engineering, and platform work
Partner with analytics, measurement, and optimization leaders to connect solutions to business outcomes
Lead through influence across senior practitioners without direct reports initially
Interview candidates and help attract senior talent
Create reusable reference architectures, estimating models, and solution patterns
Support the practice’s point of view and pursuits in industrial, manufacturing, agriculture, and distribution businesses
Use AI tools and help the practice adopt them responsibly

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 12 or more years in data, analytics, and AI, including at least 5 in consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery roles where you led multiple engagements at once
Hands-on depth in both AI and agentic solution design and modern data platform architecture
Ability to design either AI or data platform solutions, lead technical teams on both, and hold your own with client architects
Deep, recent experience with at least one of Databricks, Google Cloud, or Microsoft data and AI platforms, and working fluency across the other two
A record of shaping and winning enterprise pursuits: solutioning, estimating, scoping, and presenting to executive buyers
Experience delivering data or AI work for industrial, manufacturing, agriculture, or distribution businesses
Executive presence and ability to defend a clear point of view under pressure
Comfort working when priorities shift, several clients need attention at once, and answers are needed quickly
French language skills are nice to have
Current certifications from Databricks, Google Cloud, or Microsoft are nice to have
A public point of view on enterprise AI, such as published articles or conference talks, is nice to have
