About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Further develop and expand the Value app for iOS and/or Android
Develop native apps using Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
Design and technically implement user-centered features across both platforms
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
Continuously evolve the technical architecture
Work with REST APIs and support the technical integration of new product features
Explore new technologies and identify effective solutions to complex challenges
Continuously improve the user experience from the user’s perspective
Design and develop flows, screens, and interactions
Challenge existing features and identify opportunities for improvement
Translate ideas and requirements into concrete product solutions
Develop prototypes and UI concepts and implement them in the app
Help create a consistent and intuitive user experience across iOS and Android
Work closely with the founders, engineering team, and other team members
Support your own product ideas from the initial concept through to the completed feature
Identify user needs and develop digital products based on them
Use AI tools for development, refactoring, debugging, testing, prototyping, and idea generation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Enthusiasm for developing native iOS apps in Swift and Android apps in Kotlin
Relevant experience with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose
A strong eye for UI, UX, and intuitive user guidance
Ideally, experience with UI/UX design, prototyping, or design tools such as Figma
Knowledge of agile development, Clean Code, MVVM, and Dependency Injection
Good knowledge of automated testing, including UI and unit testing, as well as quality assurance
Experience working with REST APIs
An interest in technology and in building great products
Willingness to contribute your own ideas, take ownership, and help shape decisions
Comfortable using AI tools in development, with the ability to code without AI and critically evaluate technical output
Ability to solve complex problems and develop simple, intuitive solutions
No specific academic or vocational background required; skills and mindset are what matter
