Key responsibilities & impact

Further develop the Laravel application and backend architecture
Develop and expand REST APIs for iOS and Android apps
Implement features end to end, from the database and business logic through to the API
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Further develop database structures and interfaces
Develop authentication, authorization, background processes, and notifications
Analyze existing systems and continuously improve them
Write automated unit, feature, and API tests
Further develop the web version and admin area using Vue.js, Inertia.js, and Tailwind CSS
Design and implement responsive web applications and new features
Further develop the Value app for iOS and Android using Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose
Design and implement user-centered mobile features for both platforms
Further develop hosting and deployment infrastructure
Improve and automate CI/CD processes
Monitor and oversee performance, monitoring, and logging
Optimize development, staging, and production environments
Address security and scalability considerations
Evaluate new tools and technologies and integrate them into the stack
Contribute your own product ideas and support features from initial concept through implementation
Work closely with the founders and team members
Analyze user needs and further develop digital products
Use AI tools for development, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and ideation

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel
Experience with production applications, their operation, and continuous development
Strong experience designing and further developing REST APIs
Excellent knowledge of relational databases and sound database design
Knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID, MVC, and dependency injection
Experience with automated testing, particularly unit and feature testing
Hands-on experience with Vue.js, Inertia.js, and Tailwind CSS
Experience with native app development in Swift/SwiftUI and/or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, or willingness to learn mobile development with the support of AI
Experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, server administration, or monitoring is a plus
Willingness to contribute ideas, take ownership, and help shape technical decisions
Confident use of AI tools in development, along with the ability to code without AI and critically evaluate technical output
Enjoy solving complex problems and developing simple, robust, and intuitive solutions
Self-directed and agile approach to work
No specific academic or vocational background required; skills, mindset, and development potential are what matter
