About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsibility for operational finance, accounting, and controlling activities across several companies
  • Support with month-end and year-end closing
  • Analysis of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial performance indicators
  • Preparation of analyses, forecasts, and reports at company and group level
  • Further development of processes, structures, and finance workflows
  • Optimization of existing processes
  • Collaboration with other departments
  • Support with tax and accounting matters
  • Participation in projects relating to digitalization and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling
  • Strong understanding of accounting, financial statements, and financial interrelationships
  • Experience working with accounts, analyses, and complex matters
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and independent approach to work
  • Ideally, experience with month-end or year-end closing
  • Further training as a certified accountant or experience in controlling is a plus, but not required
  • Very good German language skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ideally, experience with ERP systems, such as Business Central
