About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end delivery and operation of enterprise IAM/IGA capabilities
- Lead engineering modernization and platform initiatives across SailPoint and the broader IAM technology ecosystem
- Lead, coach, and develop technical leads, engineers, and quality engineering professionals
- Translate strategic priorities and business requirements into executable engineering roadmaps
- Manage scope, priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments across concurrent initiatives
- Ensure availability, stability, resiliency, performance, and operational readiness of critical IAM/IGA platforms and services
- Lead production engineering, including incident management, monitoring, troubleshooting, release management, vulnerability remediation, platform maintenance, and technology debt
- Ensure engineering solutions and production changes comply with information security, technology risk, change management, testing, and control requirements
- Drive automation and continuous improvement to improve platform reliability, delivery effectiveness, and operational efficiency
- Build partnerships across technology, security, architecture, operations, application teams, and external engineering partners
- Communicate delivery status, operational health, risks, dependencies, priorities, and key metrics to senior leadership
- Support workforce, capacity, financial, and vendor planning, including utilization and knowledge transfer
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of eight years related work experience
- At least five years of project management experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Strong people leadership preferred
- Experience delivering IT/software implementations preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineering or technology delivery teams
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Experience managing technology delivery across the software development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of production engineering disciplines, including incident and change management, monitoring, resiliency, vulnerability management, release management, and technology debt
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, engineering capacity, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or similar solutions preferred
- Experience with IAM integrations involving Active Directory/Entra ID, Ping, ServiceNow, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications preferred
- Experience with IAM capabilities such as Joiner/Mover/Leaver, access requests, provisioning, role management, access certifications, and application onboarding preferred
- Experience leading teams responsible for strategic engineering delivery and L2/L3 production support preferred
- Experience with automation, CI/CD, APIs, automated testing, observability, and cloud/platform modernization preferred
- Experience operating in a highly regulated or control-intensive environment preferred
- CISSP, CISM, SailPoint, PMP/PgMP, cloud, Agile, or related security/technology certifications preferred but not required
