About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult, collaborate, and work directly with clients on payroll work, full-scale data cleanup in client HRIS, payroll, and Vanguard recordkeeping systems, and conversions
- Own all data-related project work, including problem identification, analysis, resolution, documentation, and internal and external communication
- Manage project inputs; collect, analyze, and determine the appropriateness of client data
- Analyze test data and perform test scenarios to ensure required data is present and accurate
- Review and interpret data for project needs and optimize project approaches related to data
- Interact with prior recordkeepers, payroll vendors, and clients to identify data requirements, resolve data issues, manage project timeframes, and provide guidance on data submissions
- Lead data workflow discussions with internal business partners across Client Administration, Client Services, Participant Education, Risk & Treasury, IT, and Data Transmission Services
- Act as the point of contact and subject matter expert for data-related project functions
- Proactively offer solutions to improve projects and clients’ experiences related to data, data feeds, and processes
- Assist others with issue resolution, training, coaching, and personal development
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum of three years related work experience
- Knowledge of Rumba, PRS and other IIG systems or ability to learn
- Analytical abilities required
