About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the control testing and documentation strategy across Personal Wealth, including control ownership, assurance activities, and business accountability
Champion control automation and emerging technologies to strengthen control execution and reduce risk
Define and embed control accountability across business teams
Engage with the RCSA program to identify and prioritize control documentation and testing
Deliver reporting and insights on control health and risk posture to senior leaders
Hire, evaluate, supervise, guide, and train crew
Set performance standards, review performance, and make compensation decisions
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide leadership and strategic direction for comprehensive control management programs
Monitor risk and control trends and adjust business operations as required
Improve departmental efficiency, quality, and performance
Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of twelve years related work experience
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Graduate degree preferred
Professional certifications (CPA, COSO, CIA, CISA) preferred

Ability to maintain appropriate credentials aligned with external audit standards to assess, monitor, and test financial reporting key controls
