About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Vantage’s AI platform strategy and operations
Own the Halo platform roadmap, health, performance, reliability, and continuous improvement
Run Halo platform management, including support intake, bug triage, documentation, runbooks, tiered support, backlog prioritization, release and change management, and platform health reporting
Lead builder onboarding with access, credentials, and development environments
Build and lead Vantage’s AI FinOps practice, providing consumption visibility, forecasting, budgeting, optimization, and showback/chargeback models
Drive enterprise-wide platform adoption through value narratives, measurement frameworks, and user engagement strategies
Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and coordination mechanisms for AI teams
Partner with Navigators and AI Delivery teams to support reuse, prototyping, integration patterns, and development standards
Develop go-to-market strategies translating AI capabilities into business value propositions
Oversee executive reporting, inter-team coordination, portfolio health tracking, and governance compliance
Recruit, onboard, and develop the AI Platforms team
Establish platform health metrics, SLAs, monitoring dashboards, and adoption measurement frameworks
Create go-to-market playbooks, training materials, and support resources
Build program governance for portfolio tracking, resource allocation, decision gates, and executive reporting
Facilitate coordination between Navigators, Platforms, and Accelerators
Improve the Halo builder experience through self-service provisioning, golden paths, and templates
Lead migration of existing applications into Halo
Build FinOps dashboards, consumption guardrails, budget alerts, and forecasts
Establish data governance, security, compliance, architecture, and resilience standards
Monitor enterprise AI platform trends and evaluate build-versus-buy and partnership opportunities
Manage platform vendors and contribute platform perspectives to AI strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
Extensive experience leading platform or product teams in enterprise technology environments
Proven track record building and scaling technology platforms with broad organizational adoption
Deep understanding of enterprise AI and cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and large language model platforms
Hands-on experience managing platform health and evolution
Experience with FinOps or cloud cost management for consumption-based services
Experience with usage telemetry, forecasting, budgeting, and showback or chargeback models
Experience running platform product management practices, including backlog management, bug triage, SLAs, release management, and developer experience
Strong product management or go-to-market experience translating technical capabilities into value propositions
Success building and leading diverse teams spanning technical platform ownership, analytics, product management, and program operations
Experience establishing governance frameworks, program management structures, and reporting cadences
Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities in complex matrix organizations
Experience designing metrics frameworks, adoption dashboards, and business value quantification approaches
Understanding of data center operations, infrastructure technology, or related industry contexts
Experience with enterprise AI governance, responsible AI principles, and compliance requirements
Excellent communication skills for executive presentations and cross-team coordination
Ability to operate successfully in fast-paced, evolving environments
Collaborative leadership style and ability to influence across organizational boundaries
Travel required: 15–25%
Advanced degree or relevant certifications highly desirable
FinOps Foundation certification a plus
