About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own delivery timelines for software, integration and platform projects for retailer clients
Maintain project plans, milestones and dependencies in project management software
Run sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, release planning, UAT and go-live readiness
Identify slippage, assess causes and impacts, and reset dates and expectations
Manage cross-team and third-party dependencies, including client-side technical work
Communicate project status, risks, blockers and escalations to senior management
Manage change requests and communicate scope, timeline and resourcing trade-offs
Define and share project management best practices, including Jira standards, RAID, status reporting and release processes
Lead post-launch and post-release retrospectives
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience managing software or technology projects with engineering teams
Expert, hands-on Jira experience, including boards, sprints, epics, dependencies, workflows, dashboards and reporting
Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery methods
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including QA, UAT and release management
Solid understanding of technical systems, APIs and integrations
Track record of managing and negotiating project timelines
Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across several organizations
Preferred experience in retail media, advertising or ad tech
Preferred experience in account management or another customer-facing role
PMP, CSM, SAFe or similar certification preferred
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
Successful completion of a criminal background check required
