About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform an Enterprise Cyber Security Risk program aligned to key industry standards
- Run cyber risk assessments, software scans, third-party risk assessments, user and privilege access reviews, and other risk-related activities
- Execute governance, change management, and stakeholder engagement processes through internal standards and procedures
- Report on the organization’s cyber risk posture and identify behavior changes required to mitigate risks
- Manage external and internal audit and risk programs for multiple regulatory frameworks
- Prepare cyber risk status snapshots and trend analysis
- Consolidate ongoing operational activities in a daily status briefing, including cause, fix, impact, and prevention recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be located near Westminster, CO in the Denver Metro area
- Must be able and willing to be in the office three days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and work remotely on Mondays and Fridays
- Requires 3 plus years of relevant experience
- Requires one of the following certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC or equivalent security risk management/project management certification
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on IT- or IT-risk-related disciplines
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret business drivers to develop pragmatic security solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical subject matter experts
- Strong interpersonal skills to consult with senior management, identify deficiencies, and recommend policy and process solutions
- Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, IT Infrastructure Library, Capability Maturity Model Integration, NISPOM, ICD 503, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and related U.S. Government standards and requirements
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue automation opportunities for security controls, compliance, and risk management
- Demonstrated experience guiding teams or individuals to strengthen security control implementation and effectiveness
- Demonstrated expertise implementing compliance-related security solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and nontechnical audiences
- Strong negotiation skills to facilitate commitment to and sign-off on appropriate levels of residual risk
- High personal integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally
