About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage legal proceedings
- Handle real estate matters involving possession claims, eviction proceedings, real estate development, and shopping centers
- Handle contracts, including drafting, reviewing, terminating, and pre-litigation negotiation
- Provide preventive legal advice to other areas of the company
- Prepare reports and legal pleadings
- Participate in hearings and deliver oral arguments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Technical knowledge of the Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), Tenancy Law, Real Estate Development Law, and Civil Code
- Experience in civil and real estate litigation
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
- Experience conducting hearings and preparing legal pleadings
- Ability to independently manage legal proceedings
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Experience with shopping centers and commercial leases is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
