About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outsourced accounting services for multiple nonprofit clients
Oversee client and engagement accounts payable and receivables functions
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assist the engagement supervisor with production and review of monthly financial statements
Interface with external auditors to prepare audit and 990 support schedules
Communicate directly with clients on engagement matters
Interface with external vendors and banking/finance institutions
Bring accounting expertise to clients as a consultant

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two to four years of experience in public accounting, auditing, corporate, or non-profit accounting roles
Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or license in progress preferred
Not-for-profit industry experience preferred
Familiarity with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks preferred
Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
Passion and commitment to providing quality client service and guidance
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to complete pre-employment background check
