About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and support the effective implementation of the company’s compliance program.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government agencies, including PEZA, BIR, BOI, SEC, and DOLE.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports to government agencies within established deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities.
- Monitor regulatory updates and identify potential compliance risks or concerns.
- Keep management informed of significant compliance matters and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and maintain readiness for audits.
- Collaborate with external consultants, legal counsel, and key stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct or coordinate risk assessments and facility inspections.
- Proactively review processes, practices, and documentation to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
- Respond to stakeholder due diligence requirements.
- Support compliance-related education and training initiatives across the organization.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the company’s compliance processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in audit coordination and dealing with regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements, particularly PEZA, BOI, SEC, DOLE, and other relevant government agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with relevant industry practices and professional standards.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good business acumen.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
