About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate, develop, and automate Kubernetes infrastructures, including dedicated servers and hosted Kubernetes environments
- Plan, build, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, such as kubeadm, microk8s, and k3s
- Ensure the stable and high-performance operation of software products
- Administer and optimize Linux servers, including Ubuntu and Debian
- Operate and maintain PostgreSQL databases
- Introduce, operate, and continuously improve monitoring and observability solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and OpenTelemetry
- Work closely with software developers using DevOps and GitOps practices
- Analyze incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement sustainable solutions
- Continuously improve automation, scalability, and security
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies from the cloud and open-source ecosystems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training in IT, such as an IT specialist qualification, or equivalent professional experience
- Practical experience operating Kubernetes environments
- Excellent knowledge of Linux, including Ubuntu, Debian, or comparable distributions
- Experience with cloud-related infrastructure and distributed systems
- Knowledge of containers, networking, and storage
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability
- Structured and independent approach to work
- Interest in modern cloud and platform architectures
- Willingness to continuously develop your skills
- Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code is an advantage but not required
- Knowledge of IT security, certificate management, or compliance, such as ISO 27001
- Experience with highly available systems and production platforms
