About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage incoming calls from patients, healthcare customers, and service providers
Deliver accurate information and support regarding healthcare policies and procedures
Address patient concerns, resolve issues, and follow up to ensure a satisfactory outcome
Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions and transactions
Adhere to HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations
Coordinate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex matters efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 1-2 year of customer service, call center, or healthcare related experience preferred.
Basic understanding of medical billing, insurance claims, and healthcare terminology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and efficiently
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent time management skills
Must possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Proficient data entry skills
Typing speed of 40 WPM or faster
Ability to work with and protect confidential information
Open to consultancy contract minimum of 6 months
Able to work from home with reliable internet and a backup connection
