About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Record timely transactions in accounting books
- Ensure proper accounting and bookkeeping methods are observed
- Reconcile accounts monthly and update accounting schedules
- Generate monthly financial statements
- Assist with audits and resolve discrepancies
- Work with the Accounting Manager on financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Follow team and/or client's procedures, policies, and methodologies
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–5 years of experience in accounting
- Minimum 6 months consultancy contract
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to generate and interpret financial reports
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Able to work from home
- Must have a reliable internet connection
