About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with business teams to intelligently define KPIs, ask the right questions, and translate business challenges into meaningful analytical solutions.
Build and maintain Power BI views with a focus on UX, delivering clear narratives, actionable insights, and tactical and strategic guidance for decision-making.
Independently navigate the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of the Data Lake to extract high-value answers in Big Data environments.
Lead the exploration of Artificial Intelligence solutions using Data Lake data by proposing, testing, and validating AI MVPs or advanced/predictive analytics.
Develop efficient and sustainable models, ensuring query scalability and performance as the business grows.
Automate update workflows and act as a guardian of data quality, ensuring a Single Source of Truth for leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders, understand the “why” before building the “how,” and translate complex problems into clear metrics.
Deep expertise in DAX, BigQuery, and user experience (UX)-focused design.
Advanced proficiency in complex SQL queries, optimization, joins, and structural data transformations.
Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading in modern architectures, cloud storage, and the handling of multiple formats (Parquet, CSV, JSON).
Previous experience directly supporting strategic teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, or Finance by generating insights is a plus.
