About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead individual workstreams across internal events, owning timelines, milestones, and deliverables aligned with event strategy and business goals
  • Manage day-to-day operations with external agency partners and vendors, including briefings, timelines, and deliverables
  • Build and update registration sites and attendee portals, manage communications, and pull performance reports
  • Support attendee gifting and giveaways from idea development through vendor fulfillment
  • Submit and track purchase requisitions and invoices, reconcile event budgets, and maintain accurate budget tracking
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, innovate event formats, and increase efficiency, including through AI tools
  • Support Veeam Launchpad, Veeam eXcellence, and Veeam Quotient internal events
  • Report to the Senior Manager on the Global Events team and support project leads across internal programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in event management, event production, or experiential marketing
  • Experience leading or owning an event workstream from ideation through execution, including timelines, resources, and deliverables
  • Hands-on experience with Cvent for registration and attendee management
  • Independent, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with minimal guidance in fast-paced environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across all organizational levels, including senior stakeholders
  • Tech literate and comfortable learning new platforms and tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time
  • Bonus: Experience supporting internal events such as sales kickoffs, leadership summits, or company-wide programs
  • Bonus: Experience with RainFocus, Swoogo, Zoom, or Teams
  • Bonus: Experience with Coupa for purchasing and invoicing
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT
