About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide input to proposals and Statements of Work
- Support delivery implementation and consulting services for Veeam solution designs and deliverables
- Provide project guidance, including project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource plans and status updates
- Assist with solution assessment and design and post-installation issues
- Assist with Veeam solution implementation effort estimation
- Create white papers, solution guides, best practices and custom documentation
- Deliver onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam solutions
- Document configurations and completed activities
- Analyse installed environments and guide optimal Veeam configurations
- Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support
- Identify additional client needs addressable with Veeam solutions
- Provide input for process and documentation improvements
- Undertake overnight business stays to meet company goals and objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology required; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products
- Proven Consulting and Project Management experience
- Significant experience and understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies, including Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio and Veeam
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment, including Fibre Channel, Ethernet and Cloud services
- Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures, including EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi and Dell
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications, including Exchange, SQL and Oracle
- Experience with Data Management, Data Protection and Data Analytics
- Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity and Operating Systems
- Experience successfully managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
- Working knowledge of Cloud technologies, capabilities and protocols
- Business proficient in French and English
