About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide input to proposals and Statements of Work
- Support delivery implementation and consulting services for Veeam Software solution designs and deliverables
- Provide overall project guidance, including project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource plans, and status updates
- Assist with solution assessment and design and post-installation issues
- Assist with estimating Veeam Software solution implementation efforts
- Create white papers, solution guides, best practices, and custom documentation
- Deliver onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam Software solutions
- Document configurations and completed activities
- Analyze installed environments and guide optimal Veeam Software configurations
- Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support
- Identify additional client needs addressable with Veeam Software solutions
- Provide input for process and documentation improvements
- Undertake overnight business stays to meet company goals and objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology required; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products
- Proven consulting and project management experience
- Significant experience and understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies, including Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, and Veeam
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment, including Fibre Channel, Ethernet, and cloud services
- Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures, including EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, and Dell
- Hands-on experience with enterprise applications, including Exchange, SQL, and Oracle
- Experience with data management, data protection, and data analytics
- Extensive experience with data centers, business continuity, and operating systems
- Experience successfully managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols
- Business proficiency in Spanish and English
