About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the customer-facing data, analytics, and insights portfolio end to end
  • Define strategy and lead cross-functionally through engineering, analytics, customer success, and go-to-market partners
  • Build zero-to-one AI-powered insight products that explain business changes, predict outcomes, and recommend actions within customer workflows
  • Own the premium analytics product line, including reporting, dashboards, alerting, natural-language reporting, and enhancements to embedded reporting
  • Create a unified cross-product analytics experience across customers’ Vehlo product footprint
  • Define data delivery through APIs, MCP surfaces, exports, warehouse sharing, BI connectors, and access controls
  • Own the semantic layer and metric definitions across separately built products
  • Drive pricing, packaging, and analytics unit economics, including cost-to-serve and tiering
  • Develop aggregate benchmarking and market-intelligence products from repair data
  • Establish data quality and customer trust as measurable product outcomes
  • Align teams on an analytics governance model
  • Build a cost-to-serve model per location accepted by finance
  • Meet customers across the full size range and define requirements for the unified view
  • Publish product strategy covering base functionality, premium tiers, discontinued work, and initial AI-powered product candidates
  • Report to the SVP of Product; initially have no direct reports while leading through partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in product management
  • At least 2 years specifically in B2B SaaS data products, reporting, or analytics
  • Demonstrated ownership of customer-facing analytics, including reporting, dashboards, or embedded analytics relied upon by paying customers
  • Experience building analytics spanning more than one product or module
  • Experience owning a semantic or metric layer across multiple source systems
  • Experience serving both small owner/operator businesses and large sophisticated customers with data teams
  • Zero-to-one product development track record
  • Experience pricing or packaging an analytics capability, building a cost-to-serve model, or owning revenue for a data product
  • Technical depth sufficient to read a schema, write SQL, and evaluate an API contract
  • Fluency in the unit economics of analytics
  • Genuine enthusiasm for modeling data, making it trustworthy, and turning it into customer decisions
  • Hands-on working style and fluency with AI tooling
  • Preferred: experience shipping AI-driven product surfaces, public-facing benchmarking or aggregate market-intelligence products, usage-based or consumption pricing, cost attribution per customer, or running customer-facing analytics alongside a small analytics engineering team
