About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the design and execution of user research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and diary studies.
- Recruit, screen, and schedule participants for research sessions.
- Collect and organize qualitative and quantitative data.
- Analyze research findings and help generate key insights.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Help prepare research documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Stay informed about UX research trends, tools, and best practices.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required.
- Pursuing or has a bachelor’s degree completed in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Design, Information Science, or a related field or a combination of education and work experience.
- 0-2 years relevant experience required.
- Basic understanding of UX research methods and practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Lyssna, HeyMarvin, Figma, or research platforms (e.g., User Testing, Dovetail, Optimal Workshop).
- Exposure to accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Ability to create simple research deliverables (personas, journey maps, slide decks).
