About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and maintain network infrastructure supporting products and client solutions
Maintain, support, and optimize network infrastructure services for resiliency, stability, security, and business requirements
Resolve service requests, incidents, problem tasks, and network infrastructure changes
Participate in network device hardware and software upgrades
Perform vulnerability remediation and incident/alert response
Conduct standardization initiatives, routine compliance tasks, capacity planning, and network monitoring enhancements
Monitor and support client telecom circuits
Work with carriers and vendors on incident resolution and optimization
Participate in triage and incident bridge calls
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend network support as needed
Provide customer service to external customers, vendors, and internal business departments
Provide technical consulting services to internal and external customers
Collaborate with Development, Product, Production Support, and Build teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent experience
Relevant industry certifications including Azure and/or AWS or equivalent experience
2–5 years relevant experience in subject matter
Solid experience configuring and maintaining Cisco routing/switching
Experience supporting layers 1–4 of the OSI model highly preferred
Support and management of security policies within a PCI compliant environment
Troubleshooting and analytical skills for incident resolution and root cause determination
SD-WAN knowledge would be a plus
Knowledge of Wireshark, Solarwinds, ServiceNow, and/or ADO helpful
