About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess existing IT solutions and analyze their functionality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Help design, develop, and implement new technical solutions.
  • Partner with teams across the Enterprise to ensure IT services are provided as agreed between service providers and customers.
  • Handle technical support tickets and help users solve problems and identify solutions.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Pursue development opportunities and demonstrate expected progress on a learning plan.
  • Create an environment that promotes end-user self-sufficiency.
  • Recognize probable conflicts and integrate diverse data elements and sources.
  • Produce innovative solutions for complex problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Information Management or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting users through technical support of applications, developing procedures and reporting tools, facilitating and coordinating training and other technical support.
  • Three (3) years of experience in financial services strongly preferred.
  • Experience establishing SLAs and availability goals to meet business requirements and budget constraints preferred.
  • Ability to read SQL queries is very helpful.
  • Experience working with regulatory, privacy, security, and associated laws, rules, and regulations, including all applicable standards preferred.
  • This role is currently not eligible for sponsorship.
