About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain a centralized telecom inventory of circuits, phone numbers, devices, and carrier services
Ensure inventory data aligns with carrier records and internal systems
Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations
Use vendor web portals and reporting
Support billing validation by ensuring invoices match active inventory
Maintain contract expirations for all services
Provide accurate inventory data to support chargeback models
Work with carriers and vendors to validate service records
Resolve inventory discrepancies with carriers and vendors
Prepare Letters of Authorization and coordinate billing address changes with carrier account teams
Request Customer Service Records from carriers when invoice detail is missing or incomplete
Produce inventory reports for Management, TEM Analysts, and the CSM Team
Ensure high data quality within Velocity's Global Expense Management system
Assist with onboarding and offboarding customer accounts
Enforce telecom governance and inventory standards
Document inventory processes and updates
Report directly to the Sr. Manager of TEM

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years hands on experience working in TEM platforms or related field
Telecom lifecycle knowledge (Voice & Data)
TEM systems and telecom billing fundamentals
Inventory reconciliation
Excel / reporting tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage high-volume data accurately
Root-cause analysis for discrepancies
Process improvement mindset
Clear documentation and communication
Cross-functional collaboration
Vendor and carrier interaction professionalism
BA degree or related work experience preferred
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
