About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyse incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes or workarounds
- Collaborate with functional SMEs and infrastructure teams to resolve issues
- Develop, debug, and deploy minor code changes and configuration updates
- Configure applications and interfaces according to client specifications
- Perform unit testing and assist with integration and user acceptance testing
- Contribute to interface design, development, and testing
- Extract, monitor, and load data to support business activities and downstream needs
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data validation and troubleshooting
- Support release deployments, environment validations, and production cutovers
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Support the full software implementation lifecycle and provide ongoing operational and technical support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in software development and delivery of enterprise software implementations using Java/J2EE technologies and Oracle
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across UI, API, and database tiers
- Good understanding of High-Tech/Semiconductor industry concepts, including product hierarchies, pricing, channel data, revenue process, and data flows
- Ability to analyse issues across raw data, application logic, and database layers
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to multitask and operate effectively in a fast-paced, global support environment
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Service Cloud, Jira, or Zendesk and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with release management, deployments, and regression testing
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and weekends
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment and meet project deliverables on time
