About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Physically pull raw materials from warehouse locations based on quantity and product
  • Enter each transaction into the RF system to fulfill customer orders
  • Return residual materials to the correct locations using an RF scanner
  • Perform material movements in warehouse and production areas
  • Weigh returned materials and update inventory with correct quantity and weight
  • Assign new pallet tags
  • Count picked materials using a calculator and the metric system
  • Shrink-wrap materials to pallets for prep-room processing
  • Ensure correct tags are scanned for each production item
  • Report material shortages for reordering and customer-order deadlines
  • Perform other general duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Preferably previous production or warehouse experience
  • Ability to work in refrigerated areas
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs. or more
  • Experience using an RF Scanner
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to perform basic math and use the Metric System
  • Ability to multitask according to priority
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Licensed Forklift or Handtruck driver
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or warehouse/distribution environment
  • Must pass skills and written tests for licensing/certification for sit-down and/or stand-up forklift
  • Excellent math skills
  • Computer literacy; RF Smart experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment
