About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure quality product is produced according to customer expectations
- Load empty lids and containers on the production line
- Open flat corrugated boxes and place product into cases
- Monitor code dates and product appearance
- Follow food safety policies, procedures, regulatory criteria, SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, FSMA, Preventive Controls, and safety programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to physically perform tasks required of the position
- Follow Food Safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria, including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, FSMA, associated Preventive Controls, and safety programs
- Ability to work typical 8–12 hour shifts
- Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to work outside and/or in adverse temperatures when required
- Ability to work around vibrations, operational chemicals, fumes, and food allergens
- Ability to work in confined and dark spaces and at heights exceeding 18 feet when required
- Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance
- Willingness to work additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends when required
