About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect product not meeting quality standards from various lines
- Sort and process product as directed
- Melt raw product and cycle it back to the proper run tank
- Maintain accurate and legible paperwork for all products handled
- Maintain proper operation of equipment
- Follow Food Safety policies, procedures, regulatory criteria, SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, FSMA, Preventive Controls, and safety programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to physically perform tasks required of the position
- Ability to follow Food Safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria, including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, FSMA, Preventive Controls, and safety programs
- Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to work typical 8–12 hour shifts
- Willingness and ability to work additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends as required
- Ability to work in environments involving heat, cold, humidity, vibrations, chemicals, fumes, food allergens, confined or dark spaces, and heights as applicable
- Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance
