About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure all site installations are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with relevant norms and regulations
- Lead and coordinate site works
- Foster effective collaboration for smooth project execution
- Cooperate closely with site contractors
- Maintain high safety standards
- Proactively manage daily site operations
- Ensure successful delivery of site activities with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Conduct safety rounds, risk assessments, and safety discussions
- Oversee site activities according to project schedule, scope, and quality standards
- Coordinate materials, equipment, skilled workforce, trainings, and certifications with Purchasing and the Project Manager
- Prepare site execution plans and supervise daily operations, inspections, and quality control
- Manage site-related changes and communicate with contractors and customers together with the Project Manager
- Maintain worksite diaries, weekly reports, quality reports, and status updates
- Organize and participate in site meetings
- Coordinate authority inspections
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicable electrical background or degree
- Proven experience in managing site operations
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage change, lead site meetings, and plan resources
- Strong understanding of Finnish site safety practices, regulations and standards
- Ability to lead safety initiatives and conduct regular assessments
- Understanding of medium and high voltage installation
- Capability to prepare and implement site execution plans
- Ability to supervise installation and construction inspections
- Attention to detail in maintaining site documentation, including worksite diaries, safety reports, and inspection records
- Ability to work in both Finnish and English, written and spoken
- Other language skills considered an asset, e.g. Swedish
- Ability to travel mainly in Finland over 150 days per year
