About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, launch, and manage new micromobility markets and partnerships
Work closely with the Director of Government Partnerships and Policy and Partnerships Managers
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations to support rapid growth and sustainable local operations
Establish and manage relationships with city staff, elected officials, community organizations, businesses, and advocacy groups
Liaise with city, university, and community partners to establish program rules and requirements
Identify and cultivate new market leads and expand Veo’s services and products to new cities
Advise Operations on compliance with local rules and regulations
Contribute local knowledge and strategy to retain, renew, and grow markets
Provide guidance on legal and compliance matters related to policy initiatives and partnerships
Travel as needed to meet stakeholders and attend relevant events

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience working on public-private partnerships, or similar background in urban/transportation planning, politics, urban development, or relevant areas of law and policy
Candidates with a Juris Doctor (JD) are especially encouraged to apply
Demonstrated experience developing and fostering community partnerships
Experience interacting with various City agencies and bureaucracy, and navigating the nexus of local government and community stakeholders strongly preferred
Proven ability to effectively lead cross-functional efforts to manage complex partnerships and projects effectively and responsibly
SQL and data analysis skills and experience a huge bonus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding (and sometimes unstructured) environment
Strong proposal writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and maintain attention to detail across varied projects and partnerships
Independent self-starter with effective people collaboration skills
Love traveling and welcome short-notice arrangements
