About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Electrical Design technical guidance and support across Veolia UK’s Energy Industrial Customers
- Lead the Electrical Design development and promotion of innovative and commercially attractive technical solutions
- Lead Electrical Design for technical solutions involving HVAC, BMS, LTHW, chilled water, district energy, heat pumps, fuel cells, low carbon heat networks, steam and CHP systems
- Support Technical Solutions, Business Development and Operations teams
- Develop energy performance proposals, support existing operational contracts and identify new business development opportunities
- Support projects across industrial, healthcare and building services sectors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recognised professional qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Experience of the energy industry, particularly building services, HVAC, BMS, steam raising plants, CHP, LTHW systems, low carbon technology and heat networks
- Good understanding of electrical distribution and controls
- Technical Optioneering experience in a client-facing capacity
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Ability to work hybrid from a nationwide office and attend site visits as necessary
