About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide an effective recycling service to the residents of Merseyside with their household waste and recycling
- Assist members of the public with waste and recycling disposal
- Ensure the facility is left in a clean condition
- Remove fly-tipped waste and clean spillages before leaving the area
- Operate site mobile plant as required
- Perform routine daily checks, maintenance and cleaning of plant, tools and equipment
- Ensure the health and safety of members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience within a similar customer facing operational environment
- Manual handling experience
- Full driving licence
- Ability to perform manual handling
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
