Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze end-to-end revenue cycle workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, rework, and process variation
Document current-state and future-state business processes using process maps, swimlane diagrams, and workflow documentation
Conduct root-cause analysis to identify operational bottlenecks, delays, and quality issues
Develop recommendations to improve efficiency, scalability, compliance, and customer experience
Collaborate with operational teams to standardize and optimize Reimbursement Operations workflows
Gather and document business requirements for operational and technology initiatives
Create process flows, business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Support prioritization of enhancement requests and process improvement opportunities
Perform impact assessments for proposed operational and system changes
Assist stakeholders in defining success metrics and operational KPIs
Document system integration requirements and operational workflows between platforms
Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business users to ensure solutions meet operational needs
Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities
Participate in stakeholder meetings, process workshops, and requirements gathering sessions
Track project deliverables, risks, issues, and action items
Communicate recommendations, findings, and project updates to operational leadership
Support organizational change management and adoption of new processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
1-3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or related roles
Experience documenting business processes and identifying operational improvement opportunities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools
Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, payer operations, diagnostics, laboratory services, or healthcare technology
