About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical product education to customers and field teams to drive understanding and adoption of novel diagnostics
  • Serve as a scientific and clinical resource for company products and associated disease states
  • Provide internal and external educational support
  • Partner closely across the organization and with sales teams
  • Support development of multi-channel medical educational activities and tools across the product lifecycle
  • Support speaker programs, educational materials, slide creation, and online educational events
  • Conduct client-facing activities, mostly at the request of the sales team, both in person and remotely
  • Collaborate internally on special projects
  • Cover key customers and support field teams across multiple US states
  • Travel primarily throughout the Northeast and Midwest, with trips to other parts of the United States

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree required: PhD, MD, NP, PA, or CGC
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience, preferably focused on urology/radiation oncology
  • Advanced understanding of tumor biology and molecular testing and/or related working experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and customer centricity
  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills for conveying complex study findings and data
  • Ability to build rapport, probe, demonstrate situational awareness, and adapt communication and content to audience needs
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the defined region
  • Proximity to a major airport
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter approach
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Prior experience as an MSL introducing a novel clinical assay preferred
  • At least 60% travel
  • Remote US work arrangement
