About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
Develop project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and execution strategies
Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints and implement mitigation plans
Monitor project performance and adherence to project management standards and methodologies
Evaluate scope changes and assess impacts on timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
Lead and direct daily operations for offshore project teams
Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor workload distribution
Coordinate technical, functional, and business resources
Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Serve as the primary liaison between offshore teams and onshore leadership
Provide status updates, milestone reporting, and project health assessments
Communicate requirements, business objectives, and priorities to delivery teams
Escalate risks, issues, and roadblocks
Track project progress against milestones and deliverables
Maintain schedules, action logs, risk registers, and status reports
Develop reporting metrics and dashboards for leadership
Monitor budget utilization, resource allocation, and schedule performance
Present project updates and recommendations to stakeholders
Manage issue resolution and coordinate cross-functional support
Recommend corrective actions when projects deviate from plan
Conduct project closeout activities and post-project reviews
Document lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Transition completed initiatives to operational or support teams
Maintain project documentation and knowledge transfer materials

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
5-8 years of project management experience leading technology, business transformation, or consulting projects
Experience managing offshore or geographically distributed teams
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Strong understanding of project planning, governance, risk management, and resource allocation
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work overlapping hours with the U.S. Central Time Zone
PMP certification preferred
MBA preferred
Experience in IT consulting, managed services, enterprise applications, or digital transformation initiatives
Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
