About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop the AWS backend architecture
Implement efficient Lambdas using various frameworks
Introduce modern testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Optimize performance and scalability using PostgreSQL and DynamoDB caching
Ensure and further develop professional development and documentation standards with the team using Poetry, GitHub Actions, and Confluence
Maintain the interface between products, the account system, and desktop software
Work closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers
Work in an agile environment and contribute to a collaborative team culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Python
Extensive experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Boto3, or similar technologies
Confident use of FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks
Solid experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, DynamoDB, ORM, or similar databases and technologies
Extensive knowledge of AWS, including Lambdas and S3, or other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, with willingness to dive deep into AWS
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and dependency management using Poetry, UV, PIP, or similar
Experience with test automation and agile development using Scrum/Kanban
Knowledge of software performance and scalability and implementing design patterns
High level of initiative, communication skills, assertiveness, and confident teamwork
Willingness to contribute ideas and develop professionally
